Jar or pitcher Bon Bon by the Swedish house Kosta Boda and the artist designer Kjell Engman Signed, 20th Century.Founded in 1742 by Anders Koskull and Georg Bogislaus Stael von Holstei, Kosta Boda is the oldest glassworks in Sweden. Kosta Boda offers high-quality glass creations and is distinguished in particular by its collaborations with great contemporary artists or with renowned designers as is the case here for this pitcher created by Kjell Engman.Kjell Engman Engman studied at the Stockholm School of Applied Arts, where he specialized in glasswork, his first creations date from the 1970s. His passion for this material led him to collaborate with various renowned companies, including Kosta Boda, a famous Swedish glassworks.Over the course of his career, Engman has created many iconic works that have been exhibited around the world. His distinctive style is characterised by organic, expressive forms, as well as the bold use of bright colours and eccentric patterns. His designs are often considered collector’s items and are highly regarded by art and design enthusiasts.Engman has received numerous awards and honours for his work, including the prestigious Lunning Prize in 1973. His works have also been exhibited in internationally renowned museums and art galleries, and are held in permanent collections around the world. As a prolific designer, Kjell Engman continues to push the boundaries of glass and ceramics, exploring new techniques and experimenting with innovative forms. His work continues to influence and inspire many artists and designers, and he remains one of the most influential figures in the Swedish art scene.

Gilded Wood Mirror With Putti, Italy, 19th CenturyVery decorative and beautiful size putti mirror dating from the 19th century, made in the Italian Rococo style with beautiful gold leaf gilding.Trilobe-shaped on its upper part, it is topped with two winged putti emanating from a cloud. The perimeter of the mirror is an interlacing of acanthus leaves, bunches of grapes, mistletoe and sheaves of wheat. It ends in a point with a pretty acanthus leaf and scroll decoration.Beautiful golden patina and fine sculpture, perfect for enhancing an entrance, for decorating a chest of drawers or for illuminating a recessed space.

The magnificent porcelain dish Meissen, decorated with a picturesque landscape Schwanenschlösschen bei Zwickau, is an outstanding example of the art of the masters of the Meissen firm of the first half of the 19th century. The decorative design of the dish is distinguished by an expressive relief ornament with curved rocaille edges and four bouquets of decorated fruits, which adds elegance and sophistication to the composition. In the center of the dish is an elegant polychrome painting on porcelain, depicting a swan pond in Zwickau, against the background of which an ancient castle can be seen. The composition combines the subtlety of execution and the harmony of color shades, creating the impression of a picturesque panorama. Hallmarks: Crossed swords, period 1815–1860, 1st grade, stamp number 21, brush number 27. Diameter: 22.5 cm.
