An impressive pair of Empire-style chandeliers, consisting of a blue painted sphere with voluminous gilded stars, suspended on massive chains from an upper rosette richly decorated with elements in the form of grapes, cones, and flowers. The central part of the lamp consists of 9 (nine) horns made in the shape of swans and arranged in a circle in the central part of the sphere. Chandeliers are electrified.
A similar (single) Russian spherical gilded bronze chandelier was sold at Christies, Paris on April 14, 2015, Le Goût Français - Art decoratifs du XVIIe sisècle au XIXe siècle, lot 179

A chandelier for 6 candles in the Empire style, combined from brass and bronze.
It is a reference layout of the style. The bowl on three pendants is decorated with six flying shoots of candles and richly decorated edging on the side. Stars on a convex hemisphere sound like a planetary generalization. Apparently, their different reflection in the web confirms the timeless cyclicity of day and night.
Presumably Tsarist Russia. Electrified.
