Shipping and collection

COLLECTION METHODS

The Buyer may receive the property by the following methods:

  • collection in person (subject to prior arrangement);
  • shipping arranged by ANTIQON;
  • through a transport or logistics company;
  • by any other agreed method.

The method of collection depends on:

  • the category of property;
  • the size and characteristics of the property;
  • the location of the property;
  • the destination country;
  • the conditions of the particular transaction.

Shipping may be:

  • arranged by ANTIQON;
  • carried out by third-party logistics providers;
  • arranged independently by the Buyer.

Where shipping is arranged by ANTIQON, the property may be transferred to a carrier, logistics partner, or specialised fine art shipping company.

In certain cases, additional charges may apply for:

  • special packing;
  • express delivery;
  • export documentation and export permits;
  • customs duties, taxes, and import charges;
  • other expenses related to the fulfilment of delivery.

For certain categories of property, including large, fragile, high-value, or culturally significant objects, shipping, packing, and logistics arrangements may be determined individually.

International shipping may require export documentation and export permits in accordance with applicable legislation.

COLLECTION IN PERSON

The Buyer may collect the property in person by prior arrangement with ANTIQON.

Collection in person is available:

  • only after full payment of all applicable amounts;
  • after confirmation that the property is ready for collection;
  • at an agreed date and time.

Please note that:

  • property may be located in storage, with partners, at an exhibition, or in another location;
  • the actual location of the property may differ from the gallery or office address;
  • preparation of the property for collection may require additional time.

The Buyer will be notified separately when the property is ready for collection.

Visiting an ANTIQON gallery, office, or other premises without prior arrangement does not guarantee that the property will be available for collection.

If the property is collected by a third party, the Buyer must provide written authorisation, a power of attorney, or complete a Delivery Request Form in advance.

PREPARATION AND DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

The time required to prepare the property for release depends on:

  • receipt of full payment;
  • completion of AML/KYC verification procedures;
  • the actual location of the property;
  • the need to obtain export documentation;
  • packing and logistics requirements.

Preparation of the property for collection, packing, or transfer to a carrier may require additional time.

Delivery timeframes are determined by carriers, customs procedures, and other circumstances beyond ANTIQON’s control and are provided as estimates only.

INSURANCE AND RISK

Where shipping is arranged by ANTIQON, property is shipped with insurance coverage for its full value during transportation.

Insurance may:

  • be included in the shipping costs;
  • be calculated separately depending on the value, category, route, or characteristics of the property;
  • be arranged through a carrier, logistics partner, or specialised insurance provider.

For certain categories of property, including high-value, fragile, oversized, or culturally significant objects, packing, transportation, and insurance arrangements may be determined individually.

The risk of accidental loss or damage to the property passes to the Buyer:

  • upon collection in person, at the moment the property is released;
  • upon shipment, in accordance with the terms of the selected delivery method and the conditions of the transaction.

Where the Buyer independently arranges shipping through a carrier of their choice, the risk of accidental loss or damage shall be governed by the applicable shipping terms and the selected delivery method.

STORAGE

The Buyer is required to collect the property within the agreed period.

If collection is delayed, ANTIQON reserves the right to:

  • charge storage fees;
  • transfer the property to an external storage facility;
  • engage third-party logistics providers for storage.

All costs associated with storage, handling, packing, logistics, and subsequent release of the property shall be borne by the Buyer.
