Was not approved, and did not go to print. Ink, watercolor on paper, unframed size: 13.5x11 cm, sketch framed in double mat. Comes from the artist`s family. A rather rare example of the propaganda work of Tamara Kafengauz, despite all the revolutionary fervor, did not succeed in this direction, and subsequently, painted avant-garde fantasies, landscapes and illustrations for literary works. Kafenhauz Tamara Aleksandrovna (1883-1969), studied at VKHUTEIN with Favorsky, an artist little known in Soviet times, but very popular now, especially after a personal exhibition that took place in the Sergei Andriyaka Museum of Watercolors in 2017. Belongs to the elite Soviet family of the Udaltsov-Kafenhaus-Prudkovskys, which, on the one hand, includes leading avant-garde artists, including Tamara Kafenhaus`s sister, the Amazon of the Russian avant-garde Nadezhda Udaltsova, on the other, prominent Soviet historians, from ordinary academicians to the rector of Moscow State University and the first director MGIMO Ivan Udaltsov.
