A unique mantel clock made of glass and bronze made during the period of Nicholas I (1825-1855) in the style of the late Empire. The solar theme of the luminary rising from the waters is associated with the nature of abundance in the ornament of the dial and the dominant flowerpot on conical glass. The general leitmotif of the mobility of waves and time , permeates the work and is noticeable in the rhythm of the glass and the dial pattern. In the center of the composition, He and She are Helios’ assistants. Alpha and Omega of the universe. They rise from the waves and hold the luminary, affirming love, life, fertility. This is the connecting thread of times. The clock is made of gilded and polished bronze and cobalt glass, presumably made at the Imperial Glass Factory in St. Petersburg, with bronze bases of floral designs. The upper part of the clock is made in the shape of a vase and is decorated with gilded bronze floral decoration. The dial is marked with Roman numerals, decorated with a decor in the form of sun rays rotated in an hour circle. Literature: Sychev Igor. Russian lamps from the era of classicism. 1760-1830. M. Round gold enamel powder box Violettes Paris circa 1860. On a noble, dark brown background with a golden net and antique grotesques, the lid depicts a preening nymph with a cupid adorning her hair. The vignette at the base depicts a flirtatious scene, apparently with the same cherub, dove and basket of flowers, again in pursuit of the escaping mistress. Labeled: Violettes Paris. On the inside of the rim there is a memorial date: April 18, 1880. Parisian gold hallmarks from 1838, corresponding to 750 standard, are on the bottom of the powder compact. Inside the lid there is an original mirror. Height: 3cm. length-5cm. Weight:73.94g

In the center of the icon is the three-year-old Virgin Mary, who was brought to the temple by Her parents - Joachim and Anna. For a long time they were childless and took a vow: if the Lord gives them parental happiness, then they will devote the Infant to God. It was a sacrifice - to give their only, long-awaited child. The icon shows the fulfillment of a promise: Joachim and Anna bring little Mary to the temple, where the Jerusalem priest meets the family. According to Church Tradition, he was the righteous Zacharias, the future father of John the Baptist, therefore, on the icon, his head is surrounded by a halo.
