LIQUEUR CABINET (CAVE À LIQUEURS) IN GILT BRONZE AND CRYSTAL IN THE NAPOLEON III STYLE FRANCE, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY

A high-quality liqueur bar executed in the traditions of French decorative arts of the Napoleon III style. The structure is crafted in gilt bronze, richly adorned with finely chased relief decoration incorporating acanthus leaves, classical borders, and architecturally balanced profiles. The construction forms a glazed cage with beveled glass panels, creating a refined play of reflections and enhancing the decorative presence of the interior.The interior is fitted with a complete liqueur service, comprising four crystal decanters with stoppers and sixteen cut-crystal liqueur glasses in two different models, all executed in clear faceted crystal. A central gilt-bronze stand is designed to hold the glasses, forming a strict and harmonious symmetrical composition characteristic of ceremonial salon objects of the period. The cabinet is fitted with a locking door; key included.Dimensions: Height 32 cm; Width 37.5 cm; Depth 29 cm.Condition: Good.Provenance: Private European collection.

GOLD MATCH SAFE WITH GUILLOCHÉ DECORATION, 56 ZOLOTNIK STANDARD RUSSIA, LATE 19TH – EARLY 20TH CENTURY

An elegant rectangular match safe crafted in 56 zolotnik gold, representing a refined example of Russian decorative metalwork at the turn of the 20th century. The front surface is adorned with a radiating guilloché pattern, creating a dynamic interplay of light and enhancing the sculptural quality of the form. The composition is accentuated by an oval inset of dark stone, likely glass or a semi-precious material, serving as a decorative focal point. The construction is functional and precise: the interior cavity is designed to house a matchbox, while the корпус demonstrates high craftsmanship and careful finishing. The restrained geometry is balanced by sophisticated ornamentation, characteristic of personal luxury objects of the Art Nouveau period.Marks: Maker’s mark “IK”; assay mark indicating 56 zolotnik gold standard.Dimensions: Length: 5.6 cm; Width: 3.4 cm; Height: 1.6 cm.Weight: 14.7 g.Condition: Excellent. Crisp edges, well-preserved guilloché surface, minor signs of use, no deformations or losses.Provenance: Private collection.
