A vintage pair of Country style Burmese hand woven rattan lounge chairs from the mid 20th century, with looping, out scrolling arms, arching backs and cross stretchers. Created in Burma (nowadays called Myanmar) during the midcentury period, this pair of lounge rattan chairs captures our attention with its elegant lines and relaxed presence. Each armchair features a comfortable back with arching top, connected to two delicately out scrolling arms with looping accents in the front. The seat falls into the long skirt and the ensemble is raised on four legs, straight in the front and curving in the back. These legs are strengthened and connected to one another through a cross stretcher. With their graceful lines and rattan structure, this vintage pair of Country style Burmese lounge chairs from the mid 20th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, particularly placed in a beach house, country home or mountain cabin!Dimensions: height 98; 42cm; width 75 cm; depth 80 cm.Price is for the pair.
