Round gold enamel powder box Violettes Paris circa 1860. On a noble, dark brown background with a golden net and antique grotesques, the lid depicts a preening nymph with a cupid adorning her hair. The vignette at the base depicts a flirtatious scene, apparently with the same cherub, dove and basket of flowers, again in pursuit of the escaping mistress. Labeled: Violettes Paris. On the inside of the rim there is a memorial date: April 18, 1880. Parisian gold hallmarks from 1838, corresponding to 750 standard, are on the bottom of the powder compact. Inside the lid there is an original mirror. Height: 3cm. length-5cm. Weight:73.94g

A Russian silver cylindrical shot cup crafted in 84 silver and richly decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel. The exterior surface is entirely covered with an elaborate ornamental composition built on symmetrical floral and foliate motifs, incorporating stylized blossoms and scrolling elements characteristic of the Moscow silversmithing tradition of the late nineteenth century. The enamel palette features deep cobalt blue, turquoise, white and red tones, emphasized by the precise rhythm of silver cloisons. The interior surface is smooth, with a natural silver patina, creating a refined contrast with the vivid enamel decoration of the exterior. The object exemplifies a high level of craftsmanship and masterful command of the cloisonné enamel technique.Hallmarks: Maker’s mark “KLINGERT” – Gustav Gustavovich Klingert; Moscow assay mark with silver standard “84”; Assay master’s mark “A.S” – Alexander Alexeyevich Smirnov, dated 1893.Dimensions: Height 6.7 cm; Diameter 5 cm.Weight: 82 g.Condition: Good. Enamel well preserved without losses or chips; silver with a noble patina; minor signs of wear consistent with age.Provenance: Private collection.

Disk music box, 19th century, in a wooden case, with singing birds - marquetry in the frame panel, corner balusters and strongly extended cornices of the lid and pedestal. Two cam mechanism in excellent condition. Movement serial number 99289. Includes 15 discs (diameter 30 cm). With melodies by European composers in a separate wooden box with handles. Case size: HSHG 24x49x37 cm. A complete revision of the mechanism has been carried out. Presumably manufactured by I.Ch. Detmering Hamburg.
