A large ceremonial kovsh executed in silver with gilding and cloisonné polychrome enamels. The body is formed with pronounced gadrooning, each facet adorned with elaborate floral compositions of flowers and scrolling foliage. The enamels are applied on alternating grounds of green, white, and blue, creating a richly rhythmic decorative surface. The upper section is encircled by a continuous frieze of leafy and floral arabesques in cloisonné enamels set against a matte gilt ground. The interior is fully gilt, emphasizing the ceremonial character of the object. The handle and front panel are similarly decorated with floral motifs in cloisonné polychrome enamels on a sky-blue ground. The form and ornamentation reflect the Neo-Russian style combined with elements of Art Nouveau, characteristic of the Moscow school in the early 20th century.Marks: Complete maker’s mark «P. An exquisite antique gold pocket watch of high horological complexity, created by the Swiss watchmaking house Invicta specifically for the Russian market at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The watch is housed in a substantial three-cover case crafted in 56 zolotnik gold (equivalent to 14K), finely decorated with guilloché engraving characteristic of ceremonial pocket watches of the Historicist period. The watch is accompanied by its original gold chain and presented in an original leather fitted case bearing the mark of the Moscow retailer.The movement is distinguished by exceptional technical sophistication and incorporates a quarter repeater, chronograph, full calendar with Cyrillic inscriptions in Russian (date, day of the week and month), as well as a moon phase indicator. The presence of a Cyrillic calendar and Russian gold standard clearly indicates that the watch was manufactured expressly for the Russian Empire. The enamel dial, with Roman numerals, subsidiary registers and finely shaped gilt hands, exemplifies the highest standards of late 19th-century Swiss watchmaking.The inner case back is engraved with medals awarded at the international exhibitions in Bordeaux in 1895 and Paris in 1896, bearing the inscription “Diplôme d’Honneur” and the Invicta motto, confirming the brand’s international prestige and recognition. An exceptional high-grade collectible pocket watch created at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries by the Swiss manufacture Reyem Frères Locle and expressly intended for the Russian market. This watch represents a rare and highly prestigious combination of multiple grand complications within a single case, exemplifying the highest level of technical and artistic achievement of Swiss watchmaking during the Belle Époque period.The three-cover case is crafted in 56 zolotnik gold (equivalent to 14K) and entirely decorated with fine engine-turned guilloché, uniformly covering all exterior surfaces. The central reserve of the back cover is left smooth, originally intended for personal engraving.
