An elegant cabinet magnifying glass mounted in gold, featuring a cylindrical body clad in polished dark green jasper panels with characteristic natural inclusions. The gold bezel and lens rim are finely finished with reeded and beaded borders, emphasizing the refined silhouette of the object. The handle is formed as an elaborate scroll with pierced ornamental decoration, reflecting the decorative vocabulary of the second half of the 19th century. The harmonious combination of precious metal and ornamental stone endows the magnifying glass with a distinctly aristocratic character, situating it within the tradition of luxury scholarly and bibliophile accessories.Dimensions: Height: 8 cm; Width: 2.5 cm; Depth: 4 cm.Weight: 30 g.Condition: Good condition.
