A wonderful pair of cased, dueling pistols, the court gunsmith of Nicholas I, Jacob Bertrand, mid-19th century. Octagonal, smoothbore, 11 gauge pistols with fine, gilded engraving of floral motifs, Bertrand St. Petersburg - on the top of the barrel. Markings and serial numbers 205.1 and 205.2 on the bottom of the barrels. Finely crafted wooden handles. Complete set of tools for cleaning and loading. Packed in an original turnkey wooden box with brass decor. High quality cloth interior trim. Gun length: 44 cm. Jacob Bertrand (? - 1849 (?), court and naval departmental gunsmith. In 1830 he started a business in Russia. In 1835–1840 he worked for Javale. At the Moscow exhibition of 1835 he exhibited guns and pistols, at the St. Petersburg exhibition of 1849 - hunting rifles . and the State Historical Museum.

A magnificent, aristocratic liqueur bar, spherical in shape, made of Baccarat glass in a gilded bronze case, Belle Époque period. It is a unique ensemble of 4 decanters and 16 conical glasses of the finest glass with lace vine decoration. Placed on a gilded tray, they form the core of a glass sphere with a bell-shaped lid on a hinged mechanism. The original stopper ensures reliable fixation of the lid at any angle. The through motif of a grapevine, frosted etched glass, is effectively complemented by gilded bronze details, combining the delicate fragility and power of a festive representation. Gilded belts with two lion mascarons holding ring-handles in the mouth rest on a pedestal of four lion paws. A wonderful and irreplaceable attribute of a guest room, leisurely conversation, and an aristocratic lifestyle. Baccarat. Late 19th century. Closed dimensions. Height: 37 cm. Diameter: 30 cm
