Icon 12 principal Christian feastIn the central part of the icon is the Introduction to the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows and Virgin Mary. In the center of the icon is the three-year-old Virgin Mary, who was brought to the temple by Her parents - Joachim and Anna. For a long time they were childless and took a vow: if the Lord gives them parental happiness, then they will devote the Infant to God. It was a sacrifice - to give their only, long-awaited child. The icon shows the fulfillment of a promise: Joachim and Anna bring little Mary to the temple, where the Jerusalem priest meets the family. According to Church Tradition, he was the righteous Zacharias, the future father of John the Baptist, therefore, on the icon, his head is surrounded by a halo. Behind the priest is the Holy Gates of Saints (a special place in the Jerusalem temple), where the main shrines of the Jewish people were stored in the ark.In the upper part is the icon of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.In the lower part of the Icon Assumption of the Blessed Virgin MaryIn the circle of the central part of the icon of saints: Tatiana, Sandra, Anna, Paul, Catherine, Mary Magdalene.Material: wood, gesso, tempera, Palekh, XIX century

Superb Empire style fireplace set, made in the 19th century from gilded bronze and cut glass. The set items are richly decorated with decoration depicting military heraldry in the form of a cannon, a saber and the Order of St. Stanislaus under the feet of an eagle. The handles of the flowerpots are made in the form of figures of swans with the bases decorated with images of sitting sphinxes. Dimensions: clock H - 49 cm, Vases H - 33 cm.

An impressive mantel clock with a mounted hussar above the dial. Fine metal work and coordinated coloring represent a mounted hussar in an attack in the mountains. Snatching a saber on a rearing horse, he climbs onto a rock. The Hungarian horsemans headdress perhaps indicates and romanticizes the Hungarian revolutionary events of 1848-1849. Despite the static frontality of the ceremonial portrait the composition is organized asymmetrically. The subtle texture of the silvered pendulum and the matching patina of the horse set off the overall sound of gold. Its large ligature of the Renaissance pattern is a sign of the time of Louis Philippe - the end of romanticism. H-44cm. A complete revision of the mechanism was carried out.
