Round gold enamel powder box Violettes Paris circa 1860. On a noble, dark brown background with a golden net and antique grotesques, the lid depicts a preening nymph with a cupid adorning her hair. The vignette at the base depicts a flirtatious scene, apparently with the same cherub, dove and basket of flowers, again in pursuit of the escaping mistress. Labeled: Violettes Paris. On the inside of the rim there is a memorial date: April 18, 1880. Parisian gold hallmarks from 1838, corresponding to 750 standard, are on the bottom of the powder compact. Inside the lid there is an original mirror. Height: 3cm. length-5cm. Weight:73.94g

A Russian silver cylindrical shot cup crafted in 84 silver and richly decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel. The exterior surface is entirely covered with an elaborate ornamental composition built on symmetrical floral and foliate motifs, incorporating stylized blossoms and scrolling elements characteristic of the Moscow silversmithing tradition of the late nineteenth century. The enamel palette features deep cobalt blue, turquoise, white and red tones, emphasized by the precise rhythm of silver cloisons. The interior surface is smooth, with a natural silver patina, creating a refined contrast with the vivid enamel decoration of the exterior. The object exemplifies a high level of craftsmanship and masterful command of the cloisonné enamel technique.Hallmarks: Maker’s mark “KLINGERT” – Gustav Gustavovich Klingert; Moscow assay mark with silver standard “84”; Assay master’s mark “A.S” – Alexander Alexeyevich Smirnov, dated 1893.Dimensions: Height 6.7 cm; Diameter 5 cm.Weight: 82 g.Condition: Good. SILVER LADLE IN THE FORM OF A SLAVIC BOAT WITH A WARRIOR FIGURE SAZIKOV, MOSCOW, 1891

A rare silver ladle shaped as a stylized Slavic boat, crafted by the renowned Sazikov firm in 1891. The sculptural body is adorned with chased ornament resembling scaled boat plating. The bow is decorated with volutes centered by a warrior’s shield, while the handle takes the form of a pine cone garland topped by a seated warrior in full armour and helmet, sword in hand. The interior is richly fire-gilt, evoking the shimmering seabed.The piece is a sculptural interpretation of the legendary boat of Sadko, the epic Novgorodian gusli player and seafarer. The figure of the warrior seated at the stern evokes Sadko himself — a poetic and heroic symbol of the Russian spirit.Marks:Full mark of the Sazikov firm with the Imperial double-headed eagle, indicating supplier status to the Imperial Court; Moscow assay mark with initials “L.O” over 1891 (unidentified assayer active 1890–1895); city mark of Moscow (St. George slaying the dragon) in a rectangular shield with cut corners; silver purity mark “84” in rectangular shield.Dimensions:Height: 28 cm; Width: 42 cm; Depth: 17 cm.Weight:2.544 kg.Condition:Excellent museum condition.
