A complete five-piece silver tea set by the renowned American firm Gorham, executed in a neoclassical modern style. The set includes a tall teapot, a round teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, a creamer, and a small bowl. All pieces are crafted from sterling silver (925), featuring rounded silhouettes, elongated lids, and ornate handles with heat-resistant inserts on the teapots. The composition of the set is thoroughly balanced — the proportions are precise, and the handles and spouts are gracefully aligned.
Marks:GORHAM STERLING, hallmark trio in shields: lion (quality), anchor (Providence — Gorham’s symbol), stylized G (brand initial). Model numbers: 451, 452, 453, 454, 455. Additional inscriptions: REINFORCED HANDLE, 2½ PINT, STERLING.
