A bronze, gilded chandelier with amphitrides for 7 candles of the last quarter of the 19th century. It is a complex composition with half-figures of sea goddesses, a frosted glass rocaille dome and a rich array of decorative bronze in chains and a ceiling lamp. Shells, mascarons, vignettes and intricately profiled chains are involved in the mobile plasticity of the pattern, creating a magnificent chord of shimmering, flaming light. Mobility, water, air, fire and light elements are united by the magic of the early Art Nouveau, still embodied in the incredible wealth of forms of the era of Napoleon III. Height 1.75 cm.
