A small, pocket image of the Almighty in a silver frame. It is an example of historical realism, which gained popularity from the end of the 19th century. The growth figure of Christ, as if placed on top of the the clouds and radiates light. This humble step and blessing is full of loftiness and meek strength. The precise and virtuoso painting of the miniature betrays the hand of an outstanding icon painter. The diffused atmosphere of goodness and light is accumulated by a gilded frame, made by the master of the Academy of Sciences - Nasedkin Alexei Ivanovich (1883-1908) commissioned by Lyubavin Alexander Venediktovich, the owner of the silverware factory in 1893-1917. 84 sample of silver St. Petersburg 1899-1908. Nominal brand of Lubavin of the supplier of the royal court with a double-headed eagle.

The Factory of Alexander Lubavin was a Russian silver and jewellery enterprise founded in 1853 in Saint Petersburg. The workshop specialised in artistic silverware, including ceremonial and regimental pieces, and from 1900 held the official title of Supplier to the Imperial Family.
