An elegant French silver tea service for twelve, crafted in France during the late nineteenth century in 800 standard silver. Executed in the Louis XV style, the ensemble is distinguished by refined Rococo curves, graceful silhouettes and finely executed decorative details characteristic of the finest French silversmiths of the Historicist period.
A set of silver coffee spoons in a wooden case. With baroque, asymmetric decoration of the handles and a sink at the base of the handle. Hallmarks: 84, letters GK, factory of Gustav Klingert (supplier of the court of His Imperial Majesty), Moscow around 1900.

An elegant set of six French silver gilt teaspoons executed in the Louis XVI style at the turn of the twentieth century. The ensemble is a refined example of French decorative silver from the Historicist period, when master silversmiths reinterpreted the neoclassical vocabulary of the eighteenth century with exceptional craftsmanship and precision.

RUSSIAN ART NOUVEAU SILVER SNUFFBOX WITH CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL. 6TH MOSCOW JEWELLERS’ ARTEL RUSSIA, MOSCOW, 1908–1917
A vivid and artistically coherent example of late Russian Art Nouveau, this silver snuffbox was produced by the craftsmen of the 6th Moscow Jewellers’ Artel between 1908 and 1917. The octagonal form of the body emphasises the architectural clarity of the object and provides a structural framework for a complex, multi-layered decorative programme characteristic of Moscow enamel production in the early twentieth century.

A rare silver kovsh by the Moscow firm of Pavel Ovchinnikov, Purveyor to the Imperial Court, made at the turn of the 20th century in the Neo-Russian style. The artistic conception of the piece is associated with the ornamental designs of Sergei Ivanovich Vashkov, one of the most significant figures in Russian decorative art of the Art Nouveau period.
