FRAGET - Fraget Firm, manufacturer of silver plated items. Founded in 1824 by brothers Alfons and Joseph. The demand for the products of the factory was constantly increasing, which forced the owner to increase production. In the second half of the 19th century, the factory was headed by the son of Joseph Frazhe - Julian, who devoted all his knowledge, artistic taste, energy to the development of the enterprise. The heirs retained the name of the company, its stores and warehouses were opened in large cities of the Russian Empire - in St. Petersburg, Berdichev, Kharkov, Vilno, Kiev, Tiflis, Zhitomir, Grodno, Odessa and Moscow.
The factory for its products received the highest awards and medals themselves at numerous exhibitions: the right to depict the state emblem at the All-Russian Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod in 1896, one Grand Prix, two honorary diplomas, one letter of commendation, one bronze medal, four large silver medals and seven large gold medals, in addition to these awards, and Joseph, and Julian Frager, were personally awarded. The firm was a supplier to many royal courts.
