Joint mainstream collaboration between the king of Op Art Victor Vasarely and the famous porcelain manufactory Rosenthal. Showcasing an art object of limited edition 3, a composition of 75 in the minimalist style with the personal signature of Vasarelli and the mark of the Rosenthal factory. The square panel is made up of 16 square, black and blue porcelain tiles of various profiles. It represents a kind of riddle about the vicissitudes of meaning in the formal order. Where the exception to the algorithm is the asymmetry of two white circles in high relief on one side of the inner field. This artistic provocation ironically destroys order and questions its meaning and content. Provides a metaphysical clue to the exception or deviation of a system. Authors project Victor Vasarely. The reverse side bears the Rosenthal mark and the masters signature. The composition is mounted in a stainless steel frame. Dimensions of the porcelain panel: 39.4x39.4 cm. 1970.
