Three-leaf folding in a silver case, made in the form of a temple. Road Church from Ivan Vasilyevich Zakharov, owner of a workshop of silver and gold products in Moscow, 1856-1896. Composed of icons of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel painted on wood, framing the Old Testament trinity, placed in a silver travel case on a suspension. In closed and open form they represent, respectively, the interior and exterior of a single-domed temple with three zakomars. In the folded position, the doors form a church portal on twisted columns with a fancy ancient Russian arch, and inside it there is a heavy door under a bolt. On each of the silver fragments there are hallmarks of I.V. Zakharov’s workshop - I.Z in words in a rectangular shield. Stamps 84 sterling silver. On the back of the fold, where the Golgotha and the crucifix are engraved, there are Moscow hallmarks of 84 sterling silver, unknown assayer A.M. for 1862 and the manufacturers hallmark I.Z. The silver chain ring is also branded with the master’s personal stamp and 84 hallmark silver. Height: 14.5 cm. Open length: 16 cm, closed - 8.1 cm. Total folding weight: 318 g.
