Silver Tzedaka Box for Donations. Turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Central Asia, presumably Bukhara. At the top of the casket there is an inscription in Hebrew Tzedaka Donation. The central medallion includes the image of the tablets of the covenants, which are flanked by two lions, which are symbols of the Kingdom of Judah. The main pattern of the box is made in the form of stylized stars of David, decorated with natural turquoise, cabochon cut and other natural ornamental stones: Calcedony, Carnelian, Calcite.
