Porcelain travel necessaire from Rainbow firm. Formed by rich rococo stucco relief, painted on the body, with hanging hinges in gilded metal. Each side includes two allegorical scenes. Seduction (squeezing grapes, hops) of a love message (putti with a dove in his hands); and the loving cooing of two doves, and calculation (calculation of Hermes). Similar paintings from the Schreiber collection are illustrated in the catalog on page 19, figure 191. Another of the same form was in the Mullins collection on February 22, 1977, published under the number 168. In excellent condition, without damage and restoration. 19th century.
