The workshop was located in Old Riga and in 1901 it employed 10 people. White dishes were imported mainly from Germany, and finished products were sold in the Baltic States and Russia. In 1901, at the 700th anniversary of Riga industrial and craft exhibition, the company demonstrated its products - various tableware and tea utensils, cups, bread boxes, porcelain and faience vases and other porcelain products. and fired in the company`s own kilns. Before the start of World War I and the evacuation of Riga, the porcelain painting workshop J.Jakšs un Ko ceased to exist.
