The frieze composition and acanthus consoles effectively frame the door with an accord of shining bronze and brass. The whimsical weaving of the pattern prepares the radiant appearance of the mascarons. They form the compositional, decorative and semantic center of the work. On the side walls of the office are depicted: a young man and an old man warming himself by the fire. "Momento mori". Memento Mori.
