Description of the reverse In the center is depicted the Small State Emblem of the Russian Empire - a double-headed eagle, whose heads are crowned with two crowns, the third, large crown is above them. All of them are connected by the sash of the Order of St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called. On the chest of the eagle is the Moscow coat of arms - a shield depicting George the Victorious with a spear, striking a dragon. Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called. The coats of arms are depicted on the wings: the Kingdom of Kazan, Poland, Tauric Chersonese, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian and the coat of arms of the united principalities of Kyiv, Novgorod and Vladimir - 4 for each wing. In the right paw of the eagle is a scepter, in the left is an orb. Under it from left to right are shown: the denomination - the inscription 15 RUBLES and the date of issue 1897.
