A bewitching attribute of the era of Russian Art Nouveau from the St. Petersburg workshop of Carl Faberge. Capacious, spiritual and weighty image of St. Constantine on zinc, in a silver frame. The vertical road icon represents a standing saint in royal robes, with a cross in his hand, against the backdrop of distant Constantinople shrines. The gentle haze of the outlines of St. Sophia and the temples of the city counterpoint emphasizes the unshakable historical reality of the first Christian king. His figure is given weighted and solemnly, without bragging. In the image of the emperor, a contribution to the visible reality of the Christian world is affirmed. A rectangular salary sounds surprisingly multifaceted, emphasizing the functional practicality of modernity. Right angles emphasize the importance of the pictorial field and the idea of being commercially made. At the same time, the double curls of the frame symbolize clouds - open spiritual heavens, where we see the faces and holy deeds of the past. The loop is made in geometric, chopped forms and is full of late modern grace. St. Petersburg stamps, 88 silver standard, 1908-1917. Full mark of Faberge under the double-headed eagle. The dimensions of the icon: 15x8.5 cm. The total weight of the icon is about 500 gr.
