Verlys was a French art-glass brand established in 1925 by Holophane at its glassworks in Les Andelys, Normandy. The name derives from an abbreviation of Verrerie des Andelys. Holophane initially specialised in the manufacture of optical glass; however, its decorative art-glass division soon developed into a distinctive and recognisable branch of production.
