The salt shaker is made in the form of a miniature chair, stylized as a tub, being a striking example of decorative and applied art in the neo-Russian style, popular in Russia in the second half of the 19th century. Its surface is decorated with engraved geometric and floral patterns inspired by traditional motifs of Russian folk art. Gilding gives the product a special sophistication and emphasizes the decorative value.
