An impressive 18K (750) gold ring designed as a sculptural floral composition, representing a refined example of twentieth-century fine jewellery. The central motif is composed of layered petals lavishly pavé-set with natural round brilliant-cut diamonds. Five natural round emeralds of vivid green hue provide striking chromatic accents, enhancing the three-dimensional character and elegant sculptural quality of the design.
The ring is set with 77 round brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 4.30 carats, clarity graded VVS, VS. The composition is further enriched by five natural round emeralds with a total weight of 0.36 carats, clarity graded MI. The sophisticated mounting has been engineered to maximise the brilliance and fire of the diamonds while creating an elegant contrast with the rich green colour of the emeralds. Distinguished by its exceptional craftsmanship, harmonious proportions and meticulously executed stone setting, the ring is an excellent example of twentieth-century high jewellery design.
