A rare collectible wall panel created after an original design by Victor Vasarely (1906-1997) for the renowned German porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal as part of its celebrated Studio Linie programme. Produced in the early 1970s as a strictly limited edition, this work stands among the finest examples of the collaboration between leading figures of the European avant-garde and industrial design during the second half of the twentieth century.
The composition comprises twenty-five individual porcelain modules, each measuring approximately 9.8 × 9.8 cm, mounted within the original stainless-steel frame. Every module forms an independent sculptural element, combining convex and concave circles, flat surfaces and relief squares into a unified architectural composition.
Its vibrant palette of deep blue, scarlet, violet, turquoise, emerald green, orange and azure reflects Vasarelys unmistakable visual language. A white circular form set within a black field creates the conceptual and visual centre of the composition, intentionally disrupting the mathematical regularity of the surrounding structure.
Unlike conventional geometric ornament, the composition deliberately rejects repetition. No horizontal, vertical or diagonal sequence resolves into a predictable order. Consequently, the work continuously transforms according to the viewers position, the direction of light and the movement of the observer. This dynamic interaction between perception and geometry lies at the very heart of Op Art, of which Victor Vasarely is universally recognised as the founding master.
Issued as one of only fifty authorised examples, the panel possesses exceptional collectors importance as a work situated at the intersection of fine art, architectural design and industrial production.

Панно «Geometrie Chromatique» относится к наиболее редкому направлению творчества Вазарели, в котором его знаменитые графические принципы получили объёмное пластическое воплощение. Использование рельефных фарфоровых модулей позволило объединить цвет, форму, свет и тень в единую пространственную систему. В результате зрительное восприятие композиции постоянно изменяется в зависимости от положения наблюдателя и характера освещения, создавая эффект непрерывного движения при полной статичности объекта.
