Ekhorst V.E - Russian painter of the second half of the 19th century, a representative of late academicism. He graduated from the Imperial Academy of Arts in 1860 in the class of B.P. Villevalde, was awarded small (1857) and large (1860) silver medals. Participated in exhibitions of the Imperial Academy of Arts, the Society for Exhibitions of Artistic Works, at the International Exhibition in the USA in 1876, etc. Works are presented in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and other museums.
