A magnificent mocha coffee service by the renowned Meissen porcelain manufactory, created during the 20th century in the elegant Form B. Designed to serve six persons, the service comprises 21 pieces: a mocha coffee pot with cover, a cream jug, a covered sugar bowl, six mocha cups, six saucers, and six dessert plates.
Executed in the finest white hard-paste porcelain, each piece is richly embellished with elaborate raised gilt decoration, characteristic of Meissens most distinguished productions. The sumptuous Rococo-inspired ornamentation, featuring pierced cartouches, shell motifs, scrolling acanthus foliage and flowing garlands, creates a striking contrast against the immaculate white porcelain ground, emphasizing both its purity and refined elegance. Every rim is highlighted with delicate gilt edging, while the handles of the coffee pot, cream jug and cups are fully gilded, enhancing the luxurious appearance of the ensemble.
Form B is among the most celebrated historic models produced by Meissen, distinguished by its graceful sculptural silhouette, fluid contours and harmonious proportions. The refined balance between the elegant form and the lavish gilt ornament makes this service an outstanding example of ceremonial European porcelain of the 20th century, conceived for formal table settings and distinguished interiors.
