An exceptional ring crafted in combined 750 and 585 gold (18K/14K), designed in an elegant classical composition centred on a remarkable natural tanzanite of outstanding quality. The principal gemstone, a natural cushion mixed cut tanzanite weighing 7.53 carats, displays an intense violetish blue hue (Strong Violet Blue / Intense Bluish Violet), exceptional Eye Clean clarity, and excellent cut, symmetry, polish and brilliance. The gemstone originates from the Merelani deposit in Tanzania, the worlds only source of gem quality tanzanite.
The centre stone is framed by an opulent cluster of sixteen natural diamonds arranged in an elaborate multi layered composition. Eight round brilliant cut diamonds, with an approximate total weight of 0.85 carats, graded VS-SI clarity and I-J colour, are harmoniously complemented by eight marquise cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 1.80 carats of comparable quality. The striking contrast between the richly saturated tanzanite and the scintillating diamonds enhances the architectural elegance of the design and lends the composition remarkable depth and brilliance.
The finely executed openwork gallery has been engineered to maximise the passage of light through the centre stone, enhancing its vivid colour play and internal luminosity.
