An icon of Christ Pantocrator, executed in the second half of the 19th century in the traditions of the Mstyora icon-painting school. The central image depicts Jesus Christ according to the classical Orthodox iconographic canon: the Saviour is represented frontally, with His right hand raised in blessing and holding an open Gospel Book in His left hand, symbolising His role as the Heavenly Judge and Divine Teacher.

The icon is painted on a recessed wooden panel (kovcheg) using the traditional technique of tempera painting on gesso ground (levkas) with the application of gilding. The refined execution, restrained colour palette, delicate modelling of the face and meticulous attention to detail reflect the distinctive features of the 19th-century Mstyora icon-painting tradition, inspired by the heritage of ancient Russian iconography.

The icon is presented in a modern protective kiot case, emphasising its intimate devotional character and ensuring the preservation of the artwork.
