An exquisite silver-gilt tea glass holder by the Parisian house Odiot, representing a refined example of French decorative metalwork of the Belle Époque period. The body is constructed as a rhythmic system of openwork arcades, within which unfolds a relief ornament of grapevine with clusters and plastically modelled leaves. The fine chasing and richly developed surface texture enhance the play of light across the metal, lending the object a painterly depth.The curved handle is designed as a scrolling vegetal form with a floral medallion at its center, creating a выразительный silhouette and balancing the overall composition. The lower band is decorated with a classical ornamental frieze, providing a stable base for the openwork structure. The interior is gilded, enhancing the decorative effect and emphasizing the ceremonial character of the piece. Such holders were intended for glass tumblers and formed part of the refined culture of European table setting at the turn of the 19th - 20th centuries, combining utility with artistic expression.Marks: Maker’s mark Odiot; French silver assay marks - Minerva head.Dimensions: Height 4 cm; base diameter 5.5 cm.Weight: 73 g.Condition: Good. An elegant silver salt cellar of rare form, executed as a miniature chair with a hinged cover, represents a refined example of Moscow silverwork of the Historicism period. The composition is conceived as a stylized seat with an openwork back, a rectangular salt compartment and a folding front panel, lending the object architectural clarity and symbolic character.Particular attention is drawn to the pierced back executed in the Old Russian style. The central panel is engraved with a flowering tree surmounted by two symmetrically placed birds - a motif rooted in folk art traditions and symbolizing abundance, fertility and harmony. This decorative element harmoniously interacts with the openwork foliate scrolls and the serrated upper edge reminiscent of traditional wood carving.The base is adorned with a relief floral ornament and softly profiled contours enhancing the decorative unity of the piece. The hinged cover is finely engraved and reveals a gilt interior, creating a striking contrast with the silver surface and emphasizing the ceremonial character of the object.Marks: Maker’s mark “VI” for Vasily Ivanovich Ivanov, Moscow, active 1870–1908; assay mark with initials “V.P” over a line and date “1885”; standard mark “84”; Moscow city mark depicting St. George slaying the dragon.Dimensions: Height: 6 cm; length: 6 cm.Weight: 67 g.Condition: Good. GILT BRONZE FIREPLACE SCREEN IN THE LOUIS XV STYLE FRANCE, 19TH CENTURY

An impressive gilt bronze fireplace screen, representing a refined example of French decorative arts of the 19th century, executed in the Louis XV style. The composition is conceived in the characteristic asymmetrical Rococo manner, with flowing, sinuous lines and a richly modelled relief. The openwork bronze frame is decorated with dynamic acanthus scrolls, rocaille motifs and cartouches, forming a complex yet harmonious silhouette. The central section is fitted with a metal mesh, designed to protect the interior from sparks while simultaneously enhancing the decorative character of the object. The screen rests on elegantly curved feet, providing both stability and visual lightness. The quality of casting and the careful execution of details indicate the work of a professional French workshop oriented toward high standards of interior decoration.Marks: None observed.Dimensions: Height 74.5 cm.
