The coat of arms from the castle, which belonged to an ancient Polish-Lithuanian family, is made in the form of a large carved shield of the French type. The shield depicts a lion standing on its hind legs. Above the shield rises a knight`s helmet topped with a crown. The composition is distinguished by high skill of carving and polychrome painting, complemented by gilding, which emphasizes its grandeur and significance. This unique work of the 19th century is an example of heraldic art reflecting the rich history and traditions of the Polish-Lithuanian gentry.
