Dagger "Bebut" 1907 model.
Hallmarks: military acceptance and Artinsk weapons factory, the number "1915" corresponding to the year of issue. Pads on the handle are wooden, with two brass rivets and a mouth. Wooden sheath with a brass device. The steel blade is slightly curved, with two narrow lobes on each side. The handle is curly, narrow in the middle. Mounting the handle of the consignment note: wooden cheeks, brass rivets. The top rivet also holds the brass sleeve. Wooden scabbard, covered with leather, with a metal device . The device consists of a mouth, a bracket with a ring for a cord, on which the dagger is suspended from the waist belt, and a tip (cap) ending with a ball. On the scabbard and the shackle of the handle is probably the number of the military unit.
Historical note: Bebut, starting in 1907, replaced the Cossacks sword of all lower ranks of the gendarmes, with the exception of the Vakhmistra, ranks of the serf gendarmes and combat units. In 1908 he was adopted by machine gun teams. In 1909 he replaced the Cossacks sword of all the lower ranks of the artillery troops, except for horse and equestrian artillery. In 1910 it was again replaced by Cossacks sword at the lower ranks of the gendarmes. In the same year it was adopted by the lower ranks of the teams of equestrian reconnaissance infantry regiments.
