Charming Crimean study capturing the vivid beauty of the southern coast on a hot summer day. The painting depicts a rocky shoreline washed by the sea, with a small house under a green roof and tall cypresses set against the backdrop of blue mountains. The artist skillfully employs plein-air techniques — free brushwork, vibrant colors, and the shimmering play of light and air. The windy day’s dynamics are expressed through the interplay of waves and clouds, while compositional harmony is achieved through the balance of diagonal lines of the shore and the verticals of trees. The contrast between deep ultramarine and violet hues of the sea and mountains and the sun-bleached yellowish-white tones of the rocks creates a distinctly Crimean color palette, characteristic of the Russian Impressionist school of the 1920s–1930s.

Картина изображает скалистый берег, омываемый морем, с домиком под зелёной крышей и стройными кипарисами на фоне голубых гор. Художник виртуозно использует приёмы пленэрной живописи — свободный мазок, вибрацию цвета, подвижность света и воздуха. Динамика ветреного дня выражена в перекличке направлений волн и облаков, а гармония композиции достигается соотношением диагональных линий берега и вертикалей деревьев. Контраст насыщенных ультрамариновых и фиолетовых тонов моря и гор с выцветшими жёлто-белыми камнями создаёт подлинно крымский колорит, характерный для школы русских импрессионистов 1920–1930-х годов.
