LEROLLE brothers. A magically beautiful chandelier made of chiseled and gilded bronze. The pear-shaped stands of which are decorated with acanthus leaves. And brilliantly complemented by three shell-shaped glass bowls. Engraved signature on glass. The period of Napoleon III. Height: 51 cm. Diameter: 35 cm.Family business Louis Lerolle (1813–1875) who passed the bronze foundry to his sons, Edouard-François and Camille, in 1849, who then became known as the Lerolle Brothers.

An original silver letter opener crafted by the Karl Fabergé firm in Moscow in the last quarter of the 19th century. The piece represents a rare example of decorative sculpture that combines utilitarian function with artistic expression. The handle is modelled as a Russian peasant chopping a log with an axe. The blade, symbolically continuing as a thinning piece of wood, forms a harmonious extension of the composition. The flat root-textured base serves as a stable stand, allowing the object to be displayed vertically as an independent work of art.Marks: Full Fabergé hallmark beneath the double-headed eagle with the inscription K. FABERGÉ, assay mark 84 with the Moscow city coat of arms. A set of six silver teaspoons, produced in the workshop of the Imperial Court Supplier firm Grachev Brothers in the last quarter of the 19th century, decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel, represents a characteristic example of Saint Petersburg jewellery art of its period. The composition and decorative language reflect the emergence of Russian Art Nouveau, distinguished by structural clarity of form, emphasis on material, and an organic synthesis of function and artistic expression. A defining feature of the spoons is the original square-section handle, which conveys a sense of solidity, functional logic, and restrained plastic expression. The spoons are housed in a wooden presentation case with velvet-lined interior.Hallmarks: Maker’s mark “Grachev”; silver fineness mark “88”; master’s mark “AP”.Dimensions: Length of each spoon approx. 14 cm.Weight: Total weight 174 g.Condition: Good.
