An elegant table lamp in the Belle Époque style, crafted from porcelain and adorned with gilt bronze, executed in the artistic manner of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, which defined the aesthetic standards of French decorative arts of the 19th – early 20th century. The baluster-shaped body with sculptural handles is set against a deep cobalt ground, traditionally associated with Sèvres production. Polychrome floral garlands, delicate branches, and miniature birds are rendered with refined precision, reflecting the characteristic decorative vocabulary of Sèvres painting. Fine gilded detailing and an elaborately cast gilt bronze base create a harmonious and sophisticated decorative ensemble.Dimensions: Height with socket: 55.5 cm.Condition: Good, with minor signs of age and use.Provenance: Private European collection.

An elegant Belle Époque table lamp executed in porcelain and mounted in gilt bronze, created in the artistic manner of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, whose aesthetic principles shaped French decorative arts of the late 19th century. The oval body is set against a deep cobalt blue ground characteristic of the manufactory’s tradition and is adorned with a central painted cartouche depicting a pastoral scene, rendered with exceptional miniature precision. Floral garlands, refined gilded detailing and an ornamented border emphasize the high level of decorative painting.
