Porcelain set. Sevres. 19th century.
Unique porcelain set made at the Sevres Porcelain Manufactory (Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres) in the first half of the 19th century. The set consists of two tall vases and one wide central flowerpot. The vases are decorated with a polychrome pattern depicting gallant scenes, gilded floral patterns on a cobalt background known as bleu lapis. The inner part of the central flowerpot is decorated with flower garlands and a central bouquet made using the technique of polychrome painting. Vases are mounted on a bronze polygonal base. Decorative pens in the form of female forms are made of gilded mercury bronze characteristic of the era of the first part of the 19th century. Mantel clock in gilded bronze in Louis XV style, richly decorated with decorative elements with figures of playing Putti. Full of playful charm and lovely carelessness, the stylized tree trunk is complemented by crown and rocaille waves. Decorated with vine garlands and a whirlwind of root currencies and base vignettes, the plot revolves around carefree Putti playing with a kid that represents Bacchus. The clock keeps track of the time of happiness, instilling seriousness and sustainability in joy with this large trunk of the tree of life.Manufactory stamp: Guiche Palais Royal 147.The watch is in working condition, a complete revision of the mechanism has been carried out.
