Institutional Curatorial Exhibition
Maison ANTIQON presents its first institutional exhibition dedicated to the artistic culture of the imperial and royal courts of Europe from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century.
The exhibition explores art as an essential instrument of state representation, cultural diplomacy and the long-standing traditions of European collecting. At its heart are works created for royal residences, diplomatic salons and aristocratic collections, where artistic excellence embodied prestige, authority and the refined taste of each era.
Bringing together masterpieces from leading European and Russian artistic workshops, the exhibition reveals the rich diversity of artistic traditions that shaped the cultural identity of the Empire, Historicism, Belle Époque and Art Nouveau periods.
Each work is presented not only as an outstanding example of the decorative arts, but also as a historical witness reflecting the evolution of artistic taste, collecting traditions and the cultural connections that united Europe's imperial courts.
Every exhibition is defined by works of art that most fully express its curatorial vision.
Each object presented in this selection has been chosen as a key to understanding the exhibition's artistic concept, its historical context and the cultural legacy of Europe's imperial courts.
