19th century officer`s saber with the initials S.M.G.

A curved, single-edged blade with a large hilt, two-thirds decorated with etching, with trophies and plant motifs. Handle made of bronze, with traces of gilding, in a scabbard. The Cyrillic monogram S.M.G is engraved on the button, between the lion and the tower. Wooden handle covered with fish skin and metal braid. Iron scabbard with beautiful, leafy brass fasteners, with laurel ribbons and iron pendant bases covered with brass and decorated with meander ornaments.
