Furniture set in Empire style. Russia 19th century.

Austere and refined wavy birch furniture set of a pair of Russian armchairs and table in the empire style of the Pavlovsk palace, with monolithic and luxurious surfaces. In the center of the table and at the base of the backs of the chairs there are solar rosettes, the semantic, compositional and stylistic center of the work. 

Table dimensions: H-74.5 cm, D -90 cm.

Origin: From the family of Alfred Schønebeck (b. Varde, 1885, Copenhagen, 1931), a Danish employee of the Great Northern Telegraph Company. From 1904 he worked in Riga.
