A rare Orthodox icon is a work of the Vologda icon painting school, created at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The icon is decorated with a chased silver frame made by the silversmith Klishin Andrian Iakimov in 1802. The composition of the icon depicts the miraculous image of the Holy Mother of God with the Child, surrounded at the edges by the figures of the Lord of hosts and the Old Testament prophets.
