Paired sculptures Horses Marley.
Paired sculptures Horse Tamers or Marley Horses. Marble sculptural group Horse Tamers was created in 1740-1745. Guillaume Coustou the Elder (Guillaume Coustou I, 1677-1746) - a famous French sculptor of the first half of the 18th century, who worked on the decoration of the palaces and parks of Versailles, Marly, Tuileries and Trianon. The sculptures were commissioned by Louis XV from Carrara marble to decorate the terrace of the castle of Marly in the suburbs of Paris. Fed up with tense official images, the royal administration commissioned the sculptor to depict figures of naked youths restraining rearing horses. Provenance: Photo archive of a private collection. The sculptures were part of a private collection located in the Liechtenstein Palace. Stadtpalais Wien, Schloss Vaduz, Liechtenstein, 1945.

Large porcelain vase The Birth of Venus with the stigma of the manufacturer Sevre. Two-sided painting on an amphora of renaissance proportions of blue color with an ornament. In the head medallion Birth of Venus”. She is in the shell with an arc of red fluttering fabric surrounded by cupids and music nymphs. Fresh wind accompanies her triumph. Both water and earth and bowels are subject to the goddess. The landscape on the far side hints at the future connection of Venus and Volcano, and the shell is driven by fish and birds.On the back there is a magnificent bouquet of flowers with pears and plums; an indispensable attribute of the triumph of love and abundance.

Authors bronze statue Boy with Roosters Paul CHEVRE. H - 75 cm. Represents the work of the famous Franco-Canadian master of the second half of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century. It depicts a Boy taking apart fighting cocks. This gambling and fighting event was conveyed in an anti-censoring manner; a naked young man and in the pathos of gestures represent it. A slightly deviated figure of a young man gives way to angry roosters and their line of aggression crosses the line of the boy and loincloth. Their expressive nature creates energy and strength and also sets off the noble patina of the young man’s smooth body.
