Lalique. The history of the Lalique factory begins in 1885, when Rene Lalique revolutionized the world of jewelry by creating the famous Art Nouveau jewelry.

In 1921, Lalique opens a glass manufacturing plant in the small town of Vincennes-sur-Moder in northeastern France. Rene Lalique has several patents, as well as a number of famous works, which to this day are chased by collectors all over the world: vases "Bacchae", "Archers", "Lovebirds", crystal sculptures "Suzanne", "Thais" and "Floreal », Decorations for car radiators and much more. Glass became the main means of expression of his artistic genius until his death in 1945.

Lalique is an eminent designer of Art Nouveau jewelry and one of the world′s most renowned manufacturers of art glass. During his life, Lalique developed about 300 samples for vases and perfume bottles, decorations for hoods, as well as decorative glass products, inkpots, stands and paperweights, etc.

After the death of Rene Lalique, the company was headed by his son, Marc Lalique, and then his granddaughter, Marie-Claude.
