Hutschenreuther.

The Hutschenreuther company was founded in 1814 by Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuthe in Hohenberg an der Eger, Bavaria and was named after the founder. Previously, Karl Magnus practiced at the Wallendorf Porcelain Manufactory. After his death in 1845, the factory was run by the widow Johanna Hutschenreuther and her sons. In 1848, the factory suffered a devastating fire, but was rebuilt. From 1860, they began to produce painted gilded porcelain. The factory expanded from 1902 to 1969 and was renamed Porzellanfabriken Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG Selb. The company expanded with the following porcelain manufacturers: Jaeger, Werner & Co., Selb (1906), Paul Müller, Selb (1917), Baucher Brothers, Weiden (1927), Tierschenreuth Porcelain Factory (1927), Königsselt Porcelain Factory, Königszelt (today Jaworzyna Slaska), Silesia (1928).

In 1969 Porzellanfabriken Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG Selb merged with C.M. Hutschenreuther from Hohenberg.
