1960s design is about social, aesthetic and technical renewal. The phenomenon of goods and society of mass consumption, the object environment of Pop Art, the possibilities of plastic, have changed the world. The forms of the cosmic future, viscous and plastic volumes, optimistic contrasts have radically changed the habitat. The striking works of Eero Saarinen, Verner Panton, the experiments of Achille Castelloni served as a driver for the total experiments of the future, and liberated design as art.
